I’ve worked in the cultural sector for more than 30 years, with the past 15 focused on digital platforms, visitor-facing technologies, design and media production. My interests sit at the intersection of technology, behaviour and meaning - particularly how we interpret ourselves and our actions through the systems we build.

I’m especially fascinated (and increasingly concerned) by the current wave of technological acceleration, with its enormous potential benefits and equally high stakes if we misstep. The way AI extends our own cognitive learning frameworks while simultaneously offering a mirror into our minds - and our assumptions - is a particular focus.

This platform is where I explore those questions - writing, experiments and projects at the intersection of technology, culture and cognition. Short pieces, longer essays and work in progress.
